As a DME Accounts Receivable Specialist…
You will be responsible for multiple accounts receivable business functions. The ideal candidate takes initiative, has a sense of urgency, and is solutions oriented.
What You’ll Do:

Proper recording and application of cash

Assist patients on collection matters

Create deposit, enter, and post account transactions

Enter and post unapplied payments and balance transfers
-
Enter payment entries within daily deposits
-
Review and correct entries within deposits prior to final posting
-
Contact payers for additional or missing information or for re-issuance of check(s)

Aim to succeed by meeting individual and departmental goals as well as reporting daily metrics to management

Assist Spanish speaking patients

Review and respond to Spanish voicemail queues

Translate documents to Spanish as needed

Other duties as assigned

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload with frequent interruptions

Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated attention to detail and follow up

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

High School graduate or GED required

Compensation: $21.00-$23.00/hour
